Committees
The Club maintains a large number of standing committees. Details on some are given below.
Gardens
The Club maintains gardens at three historic house in town and at the library. Volunteers garden together or on their own to make these sites a thing of beauty all season long. For further information, please contact Nan Goulet, Kris Burton or Joanne Fray.
Civic Improvement
Civic Improvement sees to it that our traffic islands are beautiful and our Arbor Day celebration is wonderful. It meets onece a month on a Monday. Meeting times alternate between 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. For further information, please contact Margaret Bradley or Elizabeth Haines.
Plant Sale
Once a year we hold our major fund-raising event. We dig, divide and repot nearly 1000 plants that are sold to members and the public on Sale Day. It is dirty work but we love it! The committee meets several times in the spring to plan the event and once following to look ahead to the next year. For further information, please contact Jessie Foster or Diana Bailey.
Conservation
The Conservation Committee keeps the Club informed about issues relating to conservation. It also
maintains an on-going stewardship of Shaker Glen, with cleanups held on a regular basis. Committee

Hospitality
Our wonderful Hospitality Committee serves refreshments at our monthly meetings. They coordinate greeters, bakers and a floral designer. They meet as needed. All members are encourage to provide a little hospitality. For further information, please contact Shirley Ament-Bergey or Adele Barnes.
Horticulture
The Horticulture Committee develops and presents "Horticultural Minutes", short informative talks for our monthly meetings. They also plan and run workshops and trips throughout the year.
