Meeting Program 2008-2009

Unless otherwise indicated, meetings are held on Wednesday in the National Heritage Museum, 33 Marrett Road, Lexington. Morning meetings are preceded by coffee at 9:30 a.m. and a Business Meeting at 10 a.m.

  • November 12, 2008: "The Frugal Arranger" presented by Marisa McCoy
    • This is our designated Ruge Lecture

  • January 14, 2009: "Classy Sassy Grasses" presented by Norma Jane Langford

  • February 11, 2009: "Indian Gardens Today" presented by Joyce Bakshi

  • March 11, 2009: Sue Kaplan Flower Arranging Program
    • Evening meeting in the Farr Conference Room
    • Coffee at 7:00 p.m.
    • Business meeting at 7:30 p.m.
    • Program begins at 8:00 p.m.

  • Friday April 3, 2009: "Victory Gardens Past and Present" presented by Russ Morash
    • Joint Program with Historical Society
    • Refreshments at 7:00 p.m.
    • Program from 7:30-8:30 p.m.

  • April 8, 2009: "Antarctica’s Environmental Challenges" presented by Ivor Morgan
    • Ivor is a member of the Lexington Field & Garden Club

  • May 13, 2009: "Growing Wisdom" presented by David Epstein
